BENEFITS OF CINNAMON TEA
Most of the medicinal properties of cinnamon are long known and studied extensively. Here are some of them:
Cinnamon has been long studied for its ability to inhibit clumping of blood platelets. While blood clotting is normal, irregular clumping can lead to blood clots which cause serious damage and even death.
2. Regulate Blood Sugar
It has been scientifically shown that eating cinnamon with carbs helps balance the effects of food on blood sugar levels. Other studies have proven that it also supports body`s insulin response by stopping insulin-inhibiting enzymes and making it easier for the body’s cells to use sugar.
Cinnamon is one of the most powerful antioxidants, which helps protect the body from oxidative damage, premature aging, and disease.
4. Effective Against Candida
Cinnamon has potent anti-fungal properties which work against various types of yeast infections, including candida.
5. Improves Brain Health And Function
According to one study, cinnamon improves cognitive processing and stops the buildup of tau in the brain, which otherwise contributes to neurodegenerative disease.
